"One Wheel, One Day, 100 Miles!" part 2. Raising money for a local victim of paralysis. www.rideforgary.com
I finally got the time off to make this happen! Saturday July 28th, 2012 is the date. 7am - 7pm is the time. The place: all around Cape Coral, Ft. Myers, Ft. Myers Beach, and the vicinity...100 Miles, and everyone is welcome. The ride will start at 7am, but you could join in at anytime (on a bike, or unicycle) :) Call 864-356-3678 if you have any questions. Sponsors are being finalized, so the exact route will be predicated upon that.

As many of you might know, due to my manager training schedule with TGiFriday's, I had to postpone the latest 100-mile ride until July. My two boys, Austin and Jake, will both be with me for the whole month of July. So, they will also both be able to unicycle with me at the end of the ride...I am so psyched about that! Final arrangements are being handled, and the concrete date, time, and route will be announced soon. Thanks to everyone for your support and well-wishes! Saturday July 7th, or Saturday July 14th, are the two potential dates for the event. Everybody is welcome to join the ride on a bicycle or unicycle; for any distance from 5 miles to the whole 100. I am arranging to have a shag-wagon to pick up any people with mechanical difficulties or that just plain "hit the wall" during the ride.

Let's have some fun with the ride this year!

No doubt Vinny! It is going to be epic...only a little over a month to go until the ride, so longer training rides are mandatory! I have to go the whole 100 miles, but nobody else has to. I'll be happy just to have some company during the various legs of the journey :)

Rhino, I think you have an awesome site here. What you have started here is something that I know can be used to help a lot of folks. I'm sorry I missed you yesterday, but we'll get together to work soon. Hope all is well. God bless.
